Haymaker Junior Golf Academy is Western Colorado’s premier destination for junior golf. June through Mid-August, a comprehensive junior golf curriculum is offered, designed to lay the foundation for lifelong enjoyment of, and success with, the game of golf. All clinics utilize the latest cutting edge instruction techniques for girls and boys.

The Haymaker Junior Golf Academy provides the developmental foundation necessary to succeed at the next level. Graduates of the Haymaker Junior Academy can progress to the Haymaker Junior Performance Academy, and compete in regional junior events and high school golf.

HayWhacker CJGA Tournament
June 24th – 25th

Haymaker Junior Golf Championship

August 2nd • Open to all juniors ages 6-18
9am Shotgun Start
$35 per player (includes green fees)

Boy’s and Girl’s divisons
Individual, fun & competitive, stroke play event

Haymaker Parent Junior Golf Tournament

August 4th • Open to all ages
2 player team event, Stableford scoring system
Enjoy a competitive and fun day golfing with the family. Contests, prizes, & lunch are all part of this annual tournament!

Little Chippers ~ Introducing Kids to the Game of Golf

Haymaker PGA golf professionals engage kids, and their parents, in the game of golf in a fun and safe environment.  We focus on the most elemental aspects of putting, chipping and hitting the ball with our SNAG program.  Our goal is to get boys and girls excited to play golf!

Ages:  4-7
Days: Saturday, Two 4 week sessions
Dates: June 8th – June 29th & July 27th – August 17th
Time: 8am – 9am
Cost: $50 per 4 week session

Never Ever ~ New to the Game
Never Ever is the instruction program for kids 8 years of age and older, who have never played the game of golf.  Haymaker PGA golf professionals focus on the basic elements of the game, including rules, proper etiquette, and the fundamentals of the stroke.  The Never Ever clinics teach the new golfer the skills required to play golf.

Ages:  8+
Dates: June 8th & 15th
Time: 10am – 11:30am
Cost: $20 per session 

Development Program ~ Developing Skills

Designed for kids who are ready for in-depth instruction, Haymaker’s development program builds on fundamental skills, taking the junior golfer to the next level.  Clinics focus on long-term athletic movement skills that are necessary to develop a proficient golf game.

Ages:  8+
Days: Tuesdays & Fridays
Dates: June 25th – August 3th
Time: 8am – 9:30am
Cost: $20 per session; $150 for 10 sessions

Junior Golf Academy ~ Advanced Golf Techniques

Geared towards teenagers who want to compete in golf tournaments.  The focus of the Junior Golf Academy is on developing both technical and mental golf skills.  Video analysis, practice area instruction, and on-course coaching are all part of a four day clinic taught by PGA instructors.

Ages:  12+
Dates: July 8th – 10th
Time: 12pm – 4pm
Cost: $225 four day clinic

PGA TourAcademy ~ National PGA Golf Camp

Golf instruction from the country’s top PGA instructors.  Full or Half-Day Camps provide a safe, fun instructional environment where young golfers will learn, refine and improve their skills at Haymaker’s training facility.

Ages: 9-16, all skill levels
Dates: June 17th – 21st & August 19th – 23rd
Full Day Camps: 9am – 4pm (includes lunch) Cost: $575
