Perhaps the signature hole, 16 presents a spectacular view of the Yampa Valley and Emerald Mountain. Don’t visit “the committee,” the group of five bunkers along the right side. Once safely in the fairway, one is pleasantly surprised by the downhill second shot over a creek to the wide but shallow green. Be proud of your par.
