Golf Course Scheduled Opening

The Golf Course is tentatively scheduled to open on May 1st, and the driving range is scheduled to open April 20th.

Closed for 2011 Season

After spectacular Fall weather, recent snowfall, combined with very cool overnight temperatures, has left low areas frozen and snow covered. If, or when, these areas are free of snow, they will be quite susceptible to damage with golf traffic. Additionally, the cooler temperatures at night would give us very limited windows of play even if it were to warm significantly during the day. The scheduled Final-Final for Saturday the 29th has been canceled, and the course will remain closed for the 2011 Season to ensure its great condition for 2012 and beyond.

Due to the recent Snowfall, the golf course and practice facility are closed. We will try and re-open for the weekend and beyond depending on how much Sun we receive over the next few days. Check back soon!

Travel Alert: 2011 Pro Cycling Challenge & Haymaker!
Due to the Pro Cycling event taking place this weekend in Steamboat Springs, travel to and from the golf course will be affected both Friday afternoon and Saturday. Starting at 11:45am on Friday, August 26th, the eastbound lanes on Highway 40 will be closed from South Pine Grove Road to Third Street for the race. During that time, the westbound lanes will be divided into two lanes to accomodate both directions of traffic. From 9:00am – 1:00pm Saturday, August 27th, US 40 will be closed from Downtown to Haymaker Golf Course and beyond. To arrive at the golf course, please use the alternate route of CR 14 (River Road) to North CR 14F to Highway 131 North to the Haymaker Maintenance Entrance (a sign will be posted at the entrance) and follow the path to the parking lot. Please allow yourself extra time to arrive at the golf course. Thank you.
